Get to know me
I grew up on a farm with cattle, chickens, horses and dogs in the Douro-Dummer area. I rode, trained and evented horses throughout my youth. I completed a degree in Biology and Anthropology at Trent and then did my Masters degree at Laurentian University. I have worked as a fish and wildlife biologist for over 15 years and in 2011 I moved to Campbellford with my family.
I have shared my life with many dogs. I competed in flyball for several years and I've done some obedience, Rally and agility with my own dogs.
In 2021 I got a new puppy who is adorable... and the definition of a #TroubleButt. I was also facing an empty nest. Together these inspired me to want to learn more about how to overcome certain issues like leash reactivity and to turn my love of dogs into helping others to enjoy their lives with their own dogs.
